Set off on a memorable 5-day safari through Nyerere and Mikumi National Parks for an adventure full of wildlife and natural beauty. Your journey begins with a pickup from Dar es Salaam, followed by a scenic 4-hour drive to Nyerere National Park. Stay for 2 nights at the Selous Safari Lodge, where you’ll enjoy thrilling game drives and a serene boat safari on the Rufiji River.
Afterward, travel to Mikumi National Park, located just 6 hours away, for more exciting game drives and an overnight stay at Bastian Camp. Both parks are home to an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, zebras, and leopards, ensuring unforgettable sightings and memories throughout your safari.
Morning pickup from airport/ferry in Dar es Salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park with lunches stop at restaurant in Kibiti, take a short break then proceed with the drive, arrive in afternoon and check in at the lodge, then leave for evening boat drive at Rufiji river. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast from the lodge with packed lunches enjoys game drive inside the park expect to see large number of animals like lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, hyena and etc. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During afternoon you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeds with the game drive and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast with your lunch boxes drive to Mikumi National Park 6 hours driving, arrive for afternoon and evening game drive in Mikumi national park you will able to see zebras, impala, giraffe and elephants and dinner overnight.
After breakfast from lodge with packed lunches drive for full day game drive in Mikumi national park, during evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Bastian Camp.
When you are in Mikumi you will be able to see wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants
After early breakfast from lodge with the packed lunches you will drive back to Dar es Salaam. You will get a chance to spot/see animals since you’re passing through Mikumi National Park while departing to Dar es Salaam in which you’ll arrive at afternoon at hotel/ferry/airport for your next destination.
